Before You Visit

You know life is tough – relationships take effort, work requires perseverance, and faith can often puzzle and even disappoint. You seek genuine community, honest fellow strugglers committed to pursue, promote and practice the timeless truths of the Christian life... together. Come join us.

A little taste of who we are

Among us friendships develop and faith deepens – casual and conservative, relaxed and reverent, informal and intimate. We are a warm, welcoming community, a place to believe, to belong and to become like Christ; where all are being equipped with sharp minds, soft hearts, and serving hands to make a difference in someone’s day.

What to expect when you arrive

Be ready for friendly faces with a warm welcome, clear direction for where to check-in the kids, and all the coffee you want. We are a family, a fellowship of believers in Jesus Christ. Church for us isn't about the building or a great entertaining performance. It’s about building community on the Word of God. As a family of faith we share a common trait – our deep need for the grace that’s found only in Christ.

What to expect from the worship service

We have two identical worship services on Sundays at 9:30am & 11:00am. Our service format varies (we like spontaneity) but usually has several consistent elements – engaging and passionate worship, prayer, and a relevant, Biblical, 30 minute (+/-) message. We sing a mixture of hymns and new songs (Colossians 3:16) that are rich in Theological truth, exalting our awesome God, and acknowledging our sinfulness and need for our savior, Jesus Christ.

WHAT Kind of Teaching to Expect

At Centennial Church, you’ll find both the young and the young at heart. While we aren’t formally tied to a particular denomination, we are committed to the historic truths of biblical Christianity. We proclaim the unchanging, life-changing truth of God’s Word in a way that challenges both those new to the faith and those who have followed Jesus for years. You don’t have to be an experienced churchgoer or know a lot about the Bible. With a hunger for spiritual growth and a willingness to get involved, you will feel right at home here. Our pastors are seminary-trained (Dallas Theological Seminary, Fuller Seminary, Phoenix Seminary) and ministry-tested with years of experience in Young Life and local church work. Because our goal is your growth, we will seek to “give ministry away” to you if you become a part of our church family, expecting you to serve in a place that strengthens your faith, leverages your abilities and enhances your joy.

What to expect for your kids

We provide a safe, entertaining learning environment for your children and students. We aspire to give children a positive and lasting first impression of church, and we seek to partner with parents in laying the foundation of a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. We desire for our children to develop heads that think biblically, hearts that are tender, and hands that are helpful to others. Activities for our children and students are unique during each service – check the links for details.
