Anxious for Nothing

Can’t seem to get that “thing” off your mind? Weighed down with worry? “Anxiety is the secret wound of modern man” (Helmut Thielicke). We all encounter anxiety, but we don’t have to be burdened by it. Thankfully there is a God who is sovereign over every circumstance and mightier than any fear. In a world continuously brewing with anxiety, He offers a path to peace. In this 4 week series, we consider ancient words from the apostle Paul, words especially necessary for our contemporary times. “Be anxious for nothing” (Philippians 4:6). *With acknowledgement and appreciation to Max Lucado for insights from his book by the same title.
